Vaud wine cellars open day - 18 & 19.05.2013
Purchasing a glass for the modest sum of CHF 15.- offers the holder the chance to sample wines from over a dozen wine cellars in the Cloisters medieval quarter. Entrance to Aigle castle, the House of Dîme and to their museums is also included in the price. Musical entertainment provided by the local brass band.
The Colour Festival - 5 & 6.07.2013
In these days when xenophobia and an increase in racism are sadly part and parcel of our daily lives, the Colour Festival is an event that bucks the trend. In the multi-cultural district of the Planchette, the Colour Festival sets out to be an international celebration. On offer : high-class performances, stalls selling crafts and also food from all corners of the globe along with numerous activities for children and young people.

Aigle-Leysin race - 1.08.2013
The Aigle-Aï-Leysin running race is first and foremost an event for all-comers. This alpine half-marathon, run over a distance of 21,1 km, takes to the trails and footpaths of the mountain forests climbing right to the top of Berneuse at 2000m, before tackling the steep descent into Leysin village. At the finish line, food stalls, entertainment and Swiss National Day celebrations are on the menu.

Huge street party weekend hits the spotlight ! Characterised each year by a different theme, Aigle’s autumn fair is synomous with celebration and having a good time. On the agenda : raising a glass with friends, weaving in and out of the myriad of street stalls or being carried away by the numerous fairground rides, all of this and more are staples of the three day festival. Deep rooted in the hearts of the locals, this event has something for everybody, yound and old !

Scooter Festival - 27 & 28.09.2014
The Scooter Festival is a regional event dedicated to children’s entertainment. Over the course of three days, numerous acts and performances are on offer to young festival goers and their families. Specially geared towards children, the Scooter Festival is also a meeting place of discovery for all generations who rub shoulders together in a unique and cosy atmosphere.
